Trilliant Cut Diamonds Trilliant Cut Diamonds are a triangle shape, which is fiery and is probably the biggest looking shape for it's weight. This is an individual shape, not traditional but interesting and rare. Symbolically a powerful and striking shape of diamond. In a large size, 0.50ct and bigger their cost is usually substantially less compared to a round brilliant diamond however a matching pair of Trilliant cut diamonds can fetch substantially higher than a pair of round brilliant diamonds due to their rarity, since they are hard to match as a pair. Trilliant cut diamonds are not always a perfect triangle and there are 3 versions of a Trilliant diamond, as follows: 1: Brilliant with each side slightly arched outwards (but looks almost straight.) 2: Brilliant with each side being dead straight. Doesn't have the soft look of version 1. 3: Step cut (icy, not brilliant). This is a rarer version mainly due to it's un-popularity, however an un-popular diamond can also mean individuality.
